French and American aerospace industries representatives meet on the Champs Elysées

As part of the French aerospace industry centenary celebrations and the exhibition organized by GIFAS on the Champs Elysées, a meeting between American industry representatives, members of the Aerospace Industry Association (AIA), and French representatives, members of GIFAS, it’s French counterpart, will take place Thursday 9th October at 11.00am, place de la Concorde.

You are invited to participate to this meeting which will bring together the American delegation led by Clayton Jones, Chairman and CEO of Rockwell Collins, Marion Blakey President and CEO of AIA and the American Ambassador in Paris, Charles Stapleton and the French delegation with Charles Edelstenne, President of GIFAS and CEO of Dassault Aviation, Louis Giscard d’Estaing, President of the French Assembly franco-american club association, Jean-Paul Herteman, Vice President of GIFAS and president of Safran directorate, Roland Potez, President of Potez Aéronautique and Guy Rupied, Managing Director of GIFAS.
 
This meeting will take place in front of the Spad XIII, place de la Concorde next to the Crillon hotel, Thursday 9th October at 11.00am.
Program:
-               11.00am: ceremony in front of the Spad XIII with the French Airforce  La Fayette squadron 2/4 Commander and USAF representatives,
-               11.40am: visit of the Safran exhibition on the Champs Elysées,
-               12.15: cocktail lunch on the Champs Elysées with speeches from Charles Edelstenne and Clayton Jones
